Distraction and Deceptions in this Life and Times are, and will be prevalent!

We are being deceived and distracted on all sides, and in many varied ways. How, and why you might ask? “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Rev. 12:7-12. It is time to examine each of our individual lives and ask ourselves, what are we doing, and what are we focused on? As we see the events taking place Worldwide, what should we be doing, and what should our focus be? What is our ultimate goal? We will now continue to look at The New Testament, “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:3-14 This complete and entire Book, ‘The Most Sacred Oldest Prophetic History Book’ is what we should be most acquainted with in these last days of earths history. Many people who have no affinity for Scripture, believe that we are living near the end of all things, or that a cataclysmic event is just before us. I believe that the majority of persons asked, would say that they intend to live in Gods Utopian Kingdom of Heaven, where scripture tells us that “affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9. Solomon has stated that; “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.” Ecc 1:2. Another Preacher states, “Anything that medicates the mind, so that it cannot or will not follow the Law or the will of God, is Sorcery.” Other keys are, “Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. And, “Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.” We have only One Perfect example in this life, and that is, and was Jesus Christ. As Prophecy states, we will be hated, Christ followers will be hated of all men, for His names sake. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:21-27. Encouragement is here; “Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” There is only one who can do this, and that is our Creator. Scripture says “Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” We must pray to God and ask Him to perfect us for His kingdom while at the same Time requesting that He remove the distraction and the deceptions from our Minds and hearts. God, His way, should be our first priority in all things, and this Should be our focus if we plan to be on the ‘sea of glass’ in Heaven. May God Bless and keep each of us!
