Our health is paramount, it is of vital importance today, more than ever before in the history of mankind.
There are many people that place a low value upon their health, and this can be seen in the way they treat their own bodies. The eating, the drinking, the pursuits, all indicate the values placed upon our eternal health goals. We must be in supreme health in this current earthly life inorder to be able to enjoy the next, a better life in the Eternal Kingdom of God.
Most people when asked, say they want to go to Heaven to inherit a mansion prepared for the saints of God, but do they really live as though they desire a life of ultimate reform? The Oldest History book, the
Bible tells how the majority of society will be living and spending their means and time in the last days of this earth.
This is noted in 2Ti 3:1 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
2Ti 3:2 "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

And then the Gospel of Luke follows on the say this, Luk 21:31 "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Now we have to see what the gospel of Matthew says, Mat 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. " Mat 24:33 "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
From these texts and interactions with people in the community, we can clearly see that we are living in the last days, prior to the soon coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ the Righteous King. My hope is that all who read this post are getting their hearts and minds right with God by asking God to forgive their sins, turning from all sin and worldliness and allowing the Lord Jesus to fully consume our lives. May God help us to be ready to meet Him in Peace, be faithful brothers and sisters.
