Godly Trust,

Godly Trust is trust beyond our simple thought patterns. We must trust God more than we trust humanity.

Psalms 115:11 says “Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield”, verse 13 “He will bless them that fear the Lord both small and great”. In Revelations 14:6,7, we read “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
If we are to live healthy, Godly lives, we must put our faith and belief, trust and obedience in the Word of God. The Bible says that a man who trusts man, will come to ruin.

Psalms 115:14, says “The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children”. Verse 15-17 says “Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence”.

We put a lot of faith and trust in man each day, but do we trust God? Think about the way we each hurl our bodies down a stretch of roadway at 60 miles per hour, passing cement post and other objects that could kill us instantly, if we struck them. We are riding in man made machinery, that could fail at any time. We trust in many machines that are made by other mistake prone human beings, like the elevators, roller coasters, airplanes, ships and even household products on a daily basis, we also trust zip lines and bungy cords. We must put our trust, faith and belief, in the God of Heaven and earth.

Genesis 2:17 says “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” The earth was cursed by God when man disobeyed and sinned and man began to die along with everything that is on the earth. Isaiah 26:4 says “Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JE-HOVAH is everlasting strength”. In Matthew 25:41 the Bible says “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels”. If we trust God, we can be on His right hand side, and live healthy lives here on this earth and be preparing for the lives we will be privileged to live Eternally.

Proverbs 28:25-27 says “He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat. He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.”
We have to believe Gods word and live by Gods instruction. May God richly bless as we learn to trust Him more fully. God has our best interest at heart and He loves us and desires that none of the human family receive the fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Gods Plan

When it comes to health and wellness, there are some simple guidelines we have been given by God, which if we follow, will help us retain our health and keep us fit for life and fit as Gods temple. We will discuss these further and in greater depth in future postings. To be more specific, it is known as "Gods Plan". The G represents, Trust God, or Godly Trust. The O represents, Open Air. The D represents, Daily Exercise. The S represents, Sunshine. The P represents, Proper Rest. The L represents, Lots of Water . The A represents, Always Temperate. The N represents, Nutrition. Gods Plan for man from the beginning was that man should be in health and free of sickness and disease, He even created man in His own Image, perfect. God had a plan that if man would obey and follow His plan, would allow man to be free from disease and illness and live a happy healthy stress free life. Gods Plan will be sketched out in the next several blog posts.

After Adam and Eve sinned, God cursed the ground and now that some six thousand years have passed, the earth and the animals are polluted and diseased and many people are realizing that animal flesh is no longer the best means of getting protein. Disease is rampant in man and beast, the waters are also polluted as well as the creatures of the waters. We have been warned that a time would come when it would not be prudent to eat animal flesh due to the many pollutants and diseases among animals, and the environment.

Men today approach Gods word and His Testimony as good writing by some good men which are largely suggestions which may be taken if one chooses to. But on the other hand, if you choose not to, is no problem. This is the reason for so many of the societal problems, and the health and wellness issues so many people have these days. The majority of people follow a very small portion of Gods word and leave the main part of the Bible for some other person to follow, as though it has nothing vital for them.

God instructed man as to what he should eat way back in the Garden of Eden, see Genesis 1:29. After Adam and Eve sinned, God cursed the ground and told man that he would eat the herb of the field in sorrow, all the days of his life. Vegetables and herbs were introduced, see Genesis 3:18, but after God destroyed the vegetation by the flood, man was permitted to eat flesh foods, animals. God gave instruction that man should never eat FAT or BlOOD, the two things that make meat taste good, so I am told. Reference Leviticus 3:17, also Lev.7:23-27. These instructions were for our ancestors, and since God never changes, these instructions are also for us today. See Malachi 3:6, and Hebrews 13:8. As long as men continue to transgress Gods word, his Law, man will have to suffer the consequences. Life span will be shortened and illnesses will exist. The Bible states "the wages of sin is death", Romans 6:23.

Gods desire is simple and stated in third John 2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” We should believe the Bible and follow the counsel because John 3:18 states that “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." Leviticus 19:12 states, “And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord”. See also James 5:12, which states “But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation”. May God Bless the reader as we come into a better understanding of His will for our lives.

A Trumpet for Seventh-Day Adventists

Ecc 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

Ecc 3:15 "That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past." As we look at how God dealt with Israel

of old, we see that He instructed them, lead them, provided for them and protected them, but most of all, He told them, covenanted with them that if they would

obey his law and remain separate from idolatry and from forming relationships with those people who would lead them into idolatry, that he would continue to bless

them and be their God. We read that God gave His law written with His finger upon two tables of stone in Exo. 20:1-17.

God also gave ancient Israel a health message found in Gen 1:29, and Gen 3:18, and later in Lev.3:17 also Lev.11, and Lev.7:23-27. God fed His people after the exodus, two meals per day,

He also did the same for Elijah, see 1Kings 17:6, and Exodus 16:12. God honors those who trust and rely on Him as we read in 2Chron 16, but as soon as we depend on

our own thoughts and ideas, or follow traditions of men, God will leave us to our own devices. King Asa did not pray to God for healing when his legs became diseased,

but rather sought the advice of medical witch doctors, men, and the Bible states that he slept with his fathers. Gods character is His law, and He never changes as

we see stated in Malachi 3:6, also in Heb 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." and James 1:17.

We change, and in so doing, we separate ourselves from God. Our sin is the transgression of Gods law. In Isaiah 59:1,2 we read that it is our sin that are the

cause of the separation between us and God. God is very loving and merciful, but His justice equals His mercy. As God gave two tables to ancient Israel, so He has

given Modern, Spiritual Israel, His remnant people two tables. These tables are referenced in Habakkuk 2:1,2. The 1843 and the 1850 charts, or tables the pioneers

of the Seventh-Day Adventist faith developed and taught, have all the prophecies, pillars and the foundations of Adventism thereon.

The very foundations of SDA beliefs, are now being denied. What is happening with these Tables is simply that many in the Leadership of Adventism are rejecting

the message and validity of these charts. In 2Pet 2:1, we read, "but there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among

you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." These are some of the same

people denying the 2520 prophecy, which is the same as the seven times sentence that was visited upon Nebuchadnezzar noted in Daniel 4:25. A time equals one year or

360 days of the Jewish calendar, and 7 X 360 equals 2520.
See Lev. 26 for a good foundation, also Lev. 25, for the reasoning of God in punishing men seven times.

This principle is throughout scripture. In Rev. 19:10, we read, "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy

fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

'It is "unto them that look for Him" that Christ is to "appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28. Like the tidings of the Saviour's

birth, the message of the second advent was not committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had

refused light from heaven; therefore they were not of the number described by the apostle Paul:
"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should

overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness." 1 Thessalonians 5:4, 5.

{GC 315.3}

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should have been the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim Him

near, the first to warn the people to prepare for His coming. But they were at ease, (316)

dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw His church, like the barren fig tree, covered with pretentious leaves,

yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence, and faith--which alone

could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness,

oppression.
A backsliding church closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did not forsake them, or suffer His faithfulness to fail; but they departed from

Him, and separated themselves from His love.
As they refused to comply with the conditions, His promises were not fulfilled to them. {GC 315.4}

Such is the sure result of neglect to appreciate and improve the light and privileges which God bestows. Unless the church will follow on in His opening

providence, accepting every ray of light, performing every duty which may be revealed, religion will inevitably degenerate into the observance of forms, and the

spirit of vital godliness will disappear.
This truth has been repeatedly illustrated in the history of the church. God requires of His people works of faith and

obedience corresponding to the blessings and privileges bestowed. Obedience requires a sacrifice and involves a cross; and this is why so many of the professed

followers of Christ refused to receive the light from heaven, and, like the Jews of old, knew not the time of their visitation
. Luke 19:44. Because of their pride

and unbelief the Lord passed them by and revealed His truth to those who, like the shepherds of Bethlehem and the Eastern Magi, had given heed to all the light they

had received."
{GC 316.1}' We in Adventism need to awake to this Alarm of warning for the message is being and has been passed along to the self-supporting ministries.
