In the Spirit of Self-Sacrificing Love, February 28

These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11. Our Saviour’s joy was in the uplifting and redemption of fallen men. For this He counted not His life dear unto Himself, but endured the cross, despising the shame.—Steps to Christ, 77. Ever before Him He saw the result of His mission. His earthly life, so full of toil and self-sacrifice, was cheered by the prospect that He would not have all this travail for naught. By giving His life for the life of men, He would win back the world to its loyalty to God.—The Desire of Ages, 410. The accomplishment of the mission which He had left heaven to perform, strengthened the Saviour for His labor, and lifted Him above the necessities of humanity. To minister to a soul hungering and thirsting for the truth was more grateful to Him than eating or drinking. It was a comfort, a refreshment to Him. Benevolence was the life of His soul.—The Desire of Ages, 190. The spirit of Christ’s self-sacrificing love is the spirit that pervades heaven, and is the very essence of its bliss. This is the spirit that Christ’s followers will possess, the work that they will do.—Steps to Christ, 77.

To Reveal Himself to Humble Men, February 27

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight. Luke 10:21. The honored men of the world, the so-called great and wise men, with all their boasted wisdom, could not comprehend the character of Christ. They judged Him from outward appearance, from the humiliation that came upon Him as a human being. But to fishermen and publicans it had been given to see the Invisible. Even the disciples failed of understanding all that Jesus desired to reveal to them; but from time to time, as they surrendered themselves to the Holy Spirit’s power, their minds were illuminated. They realized that the mighty God, clad in the garb of humanity, was among them. Jesus rejoiced that though this knowledge was not possessed by the wise and prudent, it had been revealed to these humble men. Often as He had presented the Old Testament Scriptures, and showed their application to Himself and His work of atonement, they had been awakened by His Spirit, and lifted into a heavenly atmosphere. Of the spiritual truths spoken by the prophets they had a clearer understanding than had the original writers themselves. Hereafter they would read the Old Testament Scriptures, not as the doctrines of the scribes and Pharisees, not as the utterances of wise men who were dead, but as a new revelation from God. They beheld Him “whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”—The Desire of Ages, 494.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE w/ JR Cofer - MYSTERIES OF MATTHEW 24 IN PROPHETIC REPETITION!

Let's Talk! Relativism & Sensuality In Society and Among Professed Christians - Episode 7

In Loving Interest in the Human Family, February 26

Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth; and My delights were with the sons of men. Proverbs 8:31. At all times and in all places Jesus manifested a loving interest in the human family, and shed about Him the light of a cheerful piety.—Messages to Young People, 406. He reached the hearts of the people by going among them as one who desired their good. He sought them in the public streets, in private houses, on the boats, in the synagogue, by the shores of the lake, and at the marriage feast. He met them at their daily vocations, and manifested an interest in their secular affairs. He carried His instruction into the household, bringing families in their own homes under the influence of His divine presence. His strong personal sympathy helped to win hearts.—The Desire of Ages, 151. Jesus reproved self-indulgence in all its forms, yet He was social in His nature. He accepted the hospitality of all classes, visiting the homes of the rich and the poor, the learned and the ignorant, and seeking to elevate their thoughts from questions of commonplace life to those things that are spiritual and eternal. He gave no license to dissipation, and no shadow of worldly levity marred His conduct; yet He found pleasure in scenes of innocent happiness, and by His presence sanctioned the social gathering.—The Desire of Ages, 150.

In Communion with His Father, February 25

David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope. Acts 2:25, 26. Christ found comfort and joy in communion with His Father. Here He could unburden His heart of the sorrows that were crushing Him.—Testimonies for the Church 2:202. As the human was upon Him, He felt His need of strength from His Father. He had select places of prayer. He loved to hold communion with His Father in the solitude of the mountain. In this exercise, His holy, human soul was strengthened for the duties and trials of the day. Our Saviour identifies Himself with our needs and weaknesses, in that He became a suppliant, a nightly petitioner, seeking from His Father fresh supplies of strength, to come forth invigorated and refreshed, braced for duty and trial.—Testimonies for the Church 2:201. He studied the word of God, and His hours of greatest happiness were found when He could turn aside from the scene of His labors to go into the fields, to meditate in the quiet valleys, to hold communion with God on the mountainside, or amid the trees of the forest. The early morning often found Him in some secluded place, meditating, searching the Scriptures, or in prayer. With the voice of singing He welcomed the morning light, with songs of thanksgiving He cheered His hours of labor, and brought heaven’s gladness to the toil-worn and disheartened.—The Ministry of Healing, 52.

In God’s Will and Law, February 24

Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of Me, I delight to do Thy will, O My God: yea, Thy law is within My heart. Psalm 40:7, 8. The self-denying Redeemer, throughout His pilgrimage of love on earth, was a living representation of the character of the law of God.—Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 49. From His earliest years He was possessed of one purpose; He lived to bless others.—The Desire of Ages, 70. He manifested a patience that nothing could disturb, and a truthfulness that would never sacrifice integrity. In principle firm as a rock, His life revealed the grace of unselfish courtesy.—The Desire of Ages, 68. There were some who sought His society, feeling at peace in His presence; but many avoided Him, because they were rebuked by His stainless life. Young companions urged Him to do as they did. He was bright and cheerful; they enjoyed His presence, and welcomed His ready suggestions; but they were impatient at His scruples, and pronounced Him narrow and strait-laced. Jesus answered, It is written, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.” ... When questioned why He did not join in the frolics of the youth of Nazareth, He said, It is written, “I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.”—The Desire of Ages, 89.

The Saviour Rejoices to Bring Rest and Peace, February 23

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy fellows. Hebrews 1:9. There are many who have an erroneous idea of life and character of Christ. They think that He was devoid of warmth and sunniness, that He was stern, severe, and joyless. In many cases the whole religious experience is colored by these gloomy views. It is often said that Jesus wept, but that He was never known to smile. Our Saviour was indeed a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, for He opened His heart to all the woes of men. But though His life was self-denying and shadowed with pain and care, His spirit was not crushed. His countenance did not wear an expression of grief and repining, but ever one of peaceful serenity. His heart was a well-spring of life; and wherever He went, He carried rest and peace, joy and gladness.—Steps to Christ, 120.

God’s Pleasure unto Zion, February 22

Do good in Thy good pleasure unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem. Psalm 51:18. The Lord has provided His church with capabilities and blessings, that they may present to the world an image of His own sufficiency, and that His church may be complete in Him, a continual representation of another, even the eternal world, of laws that are higher than earthly laws. His church is to be a temple built after the divine similitude, and the angelic architect has brought his golden measuring rod from heaven, that every stone may be hewed and squared by the divine measurement, and polished to shine as an emblem of heaven, radiating in all directions the bright, clear beams of the Sun of righteousness.—Testimonies to Ministers, 17. It is by the Spirit of truth, working through the word of God, that Christ subdues His chosen people to Himself. In describing to His disciples the office work of the Holy Spirit, Jesus sought to inspire them with the joy and hope that inspired His own heart. He rejoiced because of the abundant help He had provided for His church.—The Desire of Ages, 671. He rejoiced in the consciousness that He could and would do more for His followers than He had promised; that from Him would flow forth love and compassion, cleansing the soul-temple, and making men like Him in character; that His truth, armed with the power of the Spirit, would go forth conquering and to conquer.—The Acts of the Apostles, 23.

My Surrender to His Will, February 21

It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13. Yield up your will to the will of Jesus Christ; and as you do this, God will immediately take possession, and work in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. Your whole nature will then be brought under the control of the Spirit of Christ; and even your thoughts will be subject to Him.... You need to drink daily at the fountain of truth, that you may understand the secret of pleasure and joy in the Lord. But you must remember that your will is the spring of all your actions. This will, that forms so important a factor in the character of man, was at the fall given into the control of Satan; and He has ever since been working in man to will and to do of His own pleasure, but to the utter ruin and misery of man. But the infinite sacrifice of God in giving Jesus, His beloved Son, to become a sacrifice for sin, enables Him to say, without violating one principle of His government, “Yield yourself up to Me; give Me that will; take it from the control of Satan, and I will take possession of it; then I can work in you to will and to do of My good pleasure.” When He gives you the mind of Christ, your will becomes as His will, and your character is transformed to be like Christ’s character.—Testimonies for the Church 5:514.

Those Who Do His Will, February 20

The Lord taketh pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation. Psalm 149:4. The closest relationship exists between God and His people. Not only are we objects of His sparing mercy, His pardoning love; we are more than this. The Lord rejoices over His people. He delights in them. He is their surety. He will beautify all who are serving Him with a whole heart, with the spirit of holiness. He clothes them with righteousness. He loves those who do His will, who express His image.—Testimonies to Ministers, 414. He is acquainted with every one connected with His service. He knows those whose hearts He can fill with the holy oil, that they may impart it to others. Those who faithfully carry forward the work of Christ in our world, representing in word and works the character of God, fulfilling the Lord’s purpose for them, are in His sight very precious. Christ takes pleasure in them as a man takes pleasure in a well-kept garden and the fragrance of the flowers he has planted.—Testimonies for the Church 6:419.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE w/ JR Cofer - WATCH THE FINAL HOURS OF EARTH'S HISTORY

Those Who Fear Him, February 19

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy. Psalm 147:11. All heaven rejoices when weak, faulty human beings give themselves to Jesus, to live His life.—Messages to Young People, 108. Christ has pledged Himself to be our substitute and surety, and He neglects no one. He who could not see human beings exposed to eternal ruin without pouring out His soul unto death in their behalf, will look with pity and compassion upon every soul who realizes that he can not save himself. He will look upon no trembling suppliant without raising him up. He who through His own atonement provided for man an infinite fund of moral power, will not fail to employ this power in our behalf. We may take our sins and sorrows to His feet; for He loves us. His every look and word invites our confidence.—Christ’s Object Lessons, 157. However wretched may be the specimens of humanity that men spurn and turn aside from, they are not too low, too wretched, for the notice and love of God. Christ longs to have care-worn, weary, oppressed human beings come to Him. He longs to give them the light and joy and peace that are to be found nowhere else.—Christ’s Object Lessons, 226.

With His Beloved Son, February 18

Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice from heaven saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:16, 17. The word that was spoken to Jesus at the Jordan, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” embraces humanity. God spoke to Jesus as our representative. With all our sins and weaknesses we are not cast aside as worthless. “He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.” The glory that rested upon Christ is a pledge of the love of God for us. It tells us of the power of prayer,—how the human voice may reach the ear of God, and our petitions find acceptance in the courts of heaven. By sin, earth was cut off from heaven, and alienated from its communion; but Jesus has connected it again with the sphere of glory. His love has encircled man, and reached the highest heaven. The light which fell from the open portals upon the head of our Saviour, will fall upon us as we pray for help to resist temptation. The voice which spoke to Jesus says to every believing soul, “This is My beloved child, in whom I am well pleased.”—The Desire of Ages, 113.

To Give His Son for My Redemption, February 17

It pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. Isaiah 53:10. The plan for our redemption was not an after-thought, a plan formulated after the fall of Adam. It was a revelation of “the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal.” It was an unfolding of the principles that from eternal ages have been the foundation of God’s throne. From the beginning, God and Christ knew of the apostasy of Satan, and of the fall of man through the deceptive power of the apostate. God did not ordain that sin should exist, but He foresaw its existence, and made provision to meet the terrible emergency. So great is His love for the world, that He covenanted to give His only-begotten Son, “that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”—The Desire of Ages, 22. He who is infinite in wisdom could devise no plan for our salvation except the sacrifice of His Son. The compensation for this sacrifice is the joy of peopling the earth with ransomed beings, holy, happy, and immortal. The result of the Saviour’s conflict with the powers of darkness is joy to the redeemed, redounding to the glory of God throughout eternity. And such is the value of the soul that the Father is satisfied with the price paid; and Christ Himself, beholding the fruits of His great sacrifice, is satisfied.—The Great Controversy, 652.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure. Isaiah 46:10. He that ruleth in the heavens is the one who sees the end from the beginning,—the one before whom the mysteries of the past and the future are alike outspread, and who, beyond the woe and darkness and ruin that sin has wrought, beholds the accomplishment of His own purposes of love and blessing.—Patriarchs and Prophets, 43. The Bible shows us God in His high and holy place, not in a state of inactivity, not in silence and solitude, but surrounded by ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of holy beings, all waiting to do His will. Through these messengers He is in active communication with every part of His dominion. By His Spirit He is everywhere present. Through the agency of His Spirit and His angels, He ministers to the children of men. Above the distractions of the earth He sits enthroned; all things are open to His divine survey; and from His great and calm eternity He orders that which His providence sees best.—The Ministry of Healing, 417.

Obedience to His Word, February 14

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22. Burnt offerings and sacrifices were not acceptable to God in ancient times, unless the spirit was right with which the gift was offered. Samuel said, “Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and hearken than the fat of rams.” All the money on earth cannot buy the blessing of God, nor insure you a single victory. Many would make any and every sacrifice but the very one they should make, which is to yield themselves, to submit their wills to the will of God.—Testimonies for the Church 4:84. “To obey is better than sacrifice.” And without obedience and unselfish love, the richest offerings are too meager to be presented to the Possessor of all things.—Testimonies for the Church 3:57. God has commanded nothing that is unessential, and there is no other way of manifesting reverence so pleasing to Him as by obedience to that which He has spoken.—Counsels to Parents, Teachers, and Students, 111.

SABBATH WORSHIP LIVE w/ JR Cofer - THE GOSPEL OF ISAIAH

Mercy, February 13

Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. Micah 7:18. God “delighteth in mercy.” “As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked.” To Him the work of destruction and the denunciation of judgment is a “strange work.” But it is in mercy and love that He lifts the veil from the future, and reveals to men the results of a course of sin.—The Desire of Ages, 582. The Word of God reveals His character. He Himself has declared His infinite love and pity. When Moses prayed, “Show me Thy glory,” the Lord answered, “I will make all My goodness pass before thee.” This is His glory. The Lord passed before Moses, and proclaimed, “The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.” He is “slow to anger, and of great kindness,” “because He delighteth in mercy.”—Steps to Christ, 10.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE w/ JR Cofer - DID JESUS CHANGE THE SABBATH?

Kindness, Justice, and Goodness, February 12

Let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 9:24. “I am the Eternal, who deals in kindness, justice, and goodness upon earth—for these are My delight.” Moffatt. No finite mind can fully comprehend the character or the works of the Infinite One. We “cannot by searching find out God. To minds the strongest and most highly cultured, as well as to the weakest and most ignorant, that holy Being must remain clothed in mystery.—Education, 169. The apostle Paul exclaims, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!” But though “clouds and darkness are round about Him,” “righteousness and judgment are the foundation of His throne.” We can so far comprehend His dealing with us, and the motives by which He is actuated, that we may discern boundless love and mercy united to infinite power. We can understand as much of His purposes as it is for our good to know; and beyond this we must still trust the hand that is omnipotent, the heart that is full of love.—Steps to Christ, 106.

Unbending Integrity, February 11

A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is His delight. Proverbs 11:1. The accounts of every business, the details of every transaction, pass the scrutiny of unseen auditors, agents of Him who never comprises with injustice, never overlooks evil, never palliates wrong.—Education, 144. An honest man, according to Christ’s measurement, is one who will manifest unbending integrity. Deceitful weights and false balances, with which many seek to advance their interests in the world, are abomination in the sight of God.... When a man is indeed connected with God, and is keeping His law in truth, his life will reveal the fact; for all his actions will be in harmony with the teachings of Christ. He will not sell his honor for gain. His principles are built upon the sure foundation, and his conduct in worldly matters is a transcript of his principles. Firm integrity shines forth as gold amid the dross and rubbish of the world.—Testimonies for the Church 4:310. Those who choose honesty as their companion will embody it in all their acts. To a large class, these men are not pleasing, but to God they are beautiful.—Testimonies for the Church 4:607.

Those Who Follow the Truth, February 10

Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are His delight. Proverbs 12:22. Everything that Christians do should be as transparent as the sunlight. Truth is of God; deception, in every one of its myriad forms, is of Satan; and whoever in any way departs from the straight line of truth is betraying himself into the power of the wicked one. Yet it is not a light or an easy thing to speak the exact truth. We cannot speak the truth unless we know the truth; and how often preconceived opinions, mental bias, imperfect knowledge, errors of judgment, prevent a right understanding of matters with which we have to do! We cannot speak the truth unless our minds are continually guided by Him who is truth.... Those who have learned of Christ will “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.” In speech, as in life, they will be simple, straightforward, and true; for they are preparing for the fellowship of those holy ones in whose mouth “was found no guile.”—Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 68, 69.

Was the Atonement Finished at the Cross? | Two-Step Atonement & Judgment | “STUDY TO SHOW” Part 8

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com Comprehend The Prophecies of the Two-Step Atonement “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 8 1. Note: This Bible study is part eight of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 2. In this lesson, we will study the prophecies of the two-step atonement. The first was done daily; the second was done once per year. 3. Let us first define the word ‘atonement.’ The word atonement means: To cover, to expiate, purge, reconciliation, reconcile, forgive, purge away, pacify, merciful, cleansed, disannulled, appease, put off, pardon, to pitch. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Hebrew Dictionary number 3722 and 3725. Additionally number 2643 in the Greek Dictionary. 4. What happened after the priest made an atonement for the sin of the person? Leviticus 4:35___________________________________ 5. What three titles does Jesus give Himself? John 14:6__________________________________________________________________ 6. What should we study in the Bible in order to find the way of Jesus so that we may find truth, even the truth about the atonement, and receive eternal life? Psalm 77:13____________________________________________________________________________________ 7. Where did the Psalmist go in the Bible and what did he study in order to understand the end? Psalm 73:17_____________________ 8. Note: Since the sanctuary message teaches the end, it will also teach the beginning, because God declares the end from the beginning. See Isaiah 46:10. 9. Note: The Bible teaches that the sanctuary on earth had three compartments: The Court, The Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Additionally, the earthly sanctuary was a type or a copy of the heavenly sanctuary. See Exodus 25:8,9,40; Hebrews 8:1-5. 10. Note: The court of the sanctuary represented the earth. The sacrificial lamb was slain in the court. Jesus, the lamb of God, died on the cross on this earth. 11. What was the sinner to do in order to be accepted and in order for an atonement to be made for him? Leviticus 1:4_______________ 12. What did the person do when he laid his hands upon the head of the animal? Leviticus 16:21_________________________________ 13. Where in the sanctuary did the sinner confess his sins in order to receive an atonement? Leviticus 1:4,5_________________________ 14. Note: The Bible teaches that there is an atonement made at the altar for people who confess their sins and surrender to God. 15. What could a surrendered man receive once Jesus died on the cross? Romans 5:8-11_______________________________________ 16. Note: In this Bible study series, we discovered that the death of Jesus was prophesied to occur in A.D. 31 Spring, which fulfilled Daniel 9:24-27. Therefore, the first of the two-step atonement was also prophesied. 17. When Jesus mentioned His death, what did He say regarding judgment and Satan, the prince of this world? John 12:31-33_________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Just previous to his crucifixion, the Saviour said, "The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me," Though it was the hour of the power of darkness, yet in anticipation of his triumph, Christ could say, "The prince of this world is judged." "Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the prince of this world be cast out." Viewing the work of redemption as completed, he could, even in death, speak of the great final deliverance, and represent things that were future as if present. The only begotten Son of the infinite God could successfully carry through the great plan which made man's salvation sure. {RH, October 29, 1895 par. 8} 18. Where did Aaron take the blood of the animal and upon what did he sprinkle the blood in order to make the final atonement for the congregation of the Jews? Leviticus 16:15,16________________________________________________________________________ 19. Note: The phrase ‘within the veil’ where the mercy seat resides points to the most holy place. See Exodus 26:33,34; Hebrews 9:3-5. 20. Note: The final atonement occurs in the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary. The coming of Christ here described is not His second coming to the earth. He comes to the Ancient of Days in heaven to receive dominion and glory and a kingdom, which will be given Him at the close of His work as a mediator. It is this coming, and not His second advent to the earth, that was foretold in prophecy to take place at the termination of the 2300 days in 1844. Attended by heavenly angels, our great High Priest enters the holy of holies and there appears in the presence of God to engage in the last acts of His ministration in behalf of man--to perform the work of investigative judgment and to make an atonement for all who are shown to be entitled to its benefits. {GC 479.3} In the typical service only those who had come before God with confession and repentance, and whose sins, through the blood of the sin offering, were transferred to the sanctuary, had a part in the service of the Day of Atonement. So in the great day of final atonement and investigative judgment the only cases considered are those of the professed people of God. The judgment of the wicked is a distinct and separate work, and takes place at a later period. "Judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel?" 1 Peter 4:17. {GC 480.1} 21. What was the name given to that day for the final atonement? Leviticus 16:29,30___________________________________________ 22. What happened to the live goat, the scape goat, that represented Satan at the end of the Day of Atonement? Leviticus 16:20-22 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 23. Note: The atonement was not finished at the cross. The cross was the first of the two-step process in the great work of atonement. 24. What did Jesus say on the cross just before He gave up the ghost and died? John 19:30____________________________________ 25. What will Jesus say after the great work of judgment is completed in the heavenly temple? Revelation 16:5,7,17___________________ 26. What will Jesus do to people who refuse to consecrate themselves to Him? Exodus 32:29-33________________________________ 27. Note: The blotting out of people from God’s book of life means that you are eternally lost. 28. On what day were people cut off and destroyed if they refused to afflict their souls and consecrate themselves to God? God Delights in the Prayer of the Upright, February 9

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is His delight. Proverbs 15:8. Every soul has the privilege of stating to the Lord his own special necessities, and to offer his individual thanksgiving for the blessings that he daily receives. But the many long and spiritless, faithless prayers that are offered to God, instead of being a joy to Him, are a burden. We need, O so much! clean, converted hearts. We need to have our faith strengthened. ‘“Ask, and it shall be given you,” the Saviour promised; “seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7. We need to educate ourselves to trust in this word, and to bring the light and grace of Christ into all our works. We need to take hold of Christ, and to retain our hold of Him until we know that the power of His transforming grace is manifested in us.—Testimonies for the Church 9:279. God wants His children to ask for those things that will enable Him to reveal His grace through them to the world. He wants them to seek His counsel, to acknowledge His power.... It is well for us to feel our weakness; for then we shall seek the strength and wisdom that the Father delights to give to His children for their daily strife against the powers of evil.—Testimonies for the Church 9:284.

3 Decrees Before the 1st Advent | 3 Angels’ Messages Before the 2nd Advent | “STUDY TO SHOW” Part 7

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com 3 Decrees Before the First Advent | 3 Angels’ Messages Before the Second Advent | “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 7 1. Note: This Bible study is part seven of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 2.The objective of this Bible study is to focus on the 7 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:25. 3. Let us read Daniel 9:24-27 and discover that the 70 prophetic weeks are divided into the following parts: 7 weeks; 62 weeks; 1 week. The 1 week is divided into two halves. 4. We discovered in our previous studies that the starting date for the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24 is the same. 5. The going forth of what event is the starting point for both the 2300 years and the 490 years? Daniel 9:25_________________________ 6. Note: During this Bible study series, we discovered that the king that gave the commandment, the decree, for the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem was Artaxerxes. 7. During what year of king Artaxerxes’ reign was the decree given? Ezra 7:7-13,21-27_________________________________________ 8. According to history king Artaxerxes began his reign in 464 B.C. 9. “In (Nehemiah 2:1) we have another Artaxerxes. We may safely identify him with Artaxerxes Macrocheir or Longimanus, the son of Xerxes, who reigned 464-425 B.C.” Smith’s Bible Dictionary http://biblehub.com/topical/a/artaxerxes.htm 10. Note: Count seven years in the future from 464 B.C. you will arrive at the date 457 B.C. 11. According to the commandment of which three kings, did the Jews build and finish the temple in Jerusalem? Ezra 6:14_____________ _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 12a. In what year did king Cyrus make a decree for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their temple? Read the following statements._____________________________________________________________________________________________________ 12b. The Persian Empire was founded by Cyrus in 536 BC., after they succeeded the Babylonian Empire. The first king of the Persian Empire was Cyrus, who issued the famous decree for the Jews to return to their homeland to rebuild their Temple. http:// www.bible-history.com/maps/04-persian-empire.html http://biblehub.com/sermons/auth/macdonald/the_decree_of_cyrus.htm 12c. On the taking of Babylon, B.C. 538, Cyaxeres (who is called Darius in Dan.5:31), as civil ruler, took the throne. On his death, two years later, B.C. 536, he made Cyrus his successor, and the same year, Cambyses, the father of Cyrus dying, Cyrus was brought also to the Persian throne. The two were then united in one; and thus was founded the Medo-Persian empire, the ruling house being in the Persian line. {1878 UrS, TBI 50.1} 13a. In what year did king Darius make a decree for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their temple? Read the following statements._____________________________________________________________________________________________________ 13b. The Prophets Haggai and Zechariah used these hopes as a stimulus to spur the people to resume the rebuilding of the Temple destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar in 587. Judah was one of many small political units within the fifth satrapy [‘ăbar-nahărā, beyond (i.e., west of) the (Euphrates) River]. Obstructionist elements within the satrapy forced the satrap Thathanai (Tattenai) to obtain proof of Darius's approval of the construction; in 519 B.C. Darius reaffirmed the earlier decree of Cyrus, encouraging the construction to continue (Ezra ch. 5–6). This, as well as other indications, show that Darius, although an ardent Zoroastrian [see zoroaster (zarathushtra)] continued the enlightened religious policies of Cyrus. https://www.encyclopedia.com/religion/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/darius-iking-persia 13c. The decree of Cyrus for the rebuilding of the house of God, B.C. 536. Ezra1:1-4. 2. The decree of Darius for the prosecution of that work, which had been hindered, B.C. 519. Ezra 6:6-12. 3. The decree of Artaxerxes Longimanus to Ezra, B.C. 457. Ezra 7. {1877 UrS, STTHD 67.2} 14. Is the word “commandment” in its singular form or plural form in Daniel 9:25 and Ezra 6:14__________________________________ 15. Note: The decree from the three kings comprise the fulfillment of the one “commandment” for the Jews to rebuild Jerusalem. 16. Why do we begin the 2300 prophetic days and the 70 prophetic weeks from the third king, namely Artaxerxes in 457 B.C., and not Cyrus in 536 B.C. and not Darius in 519 B.C.? Read the following.______________________________________________________ In the seventh chapter of Ezra the decree is found. Verses 12-26. In its completest form it was issued by Artaxerxes, king of Persia, 457 B.C. But in Ezra 6:14 the house of the Lord at Jerusalem is said to have been built "according to the commandment ["decree," margin] of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia." These three kings, in originating, reaffirming, and completing the decree, brought it to the perfection required by the prophecy to mark the beginning of the 2300 years. Taking 457 B.C., the time when the decree was completed, as the date of the commandment, every specification of the prophecy concerning the seventy weeks was seen to have been fulfilled. {GC 326.3} 17. What did the Jews encounter when they started to rebuild Jerusalem according to the decree of Cyrus? Ezra 4:3-5,24 _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 18. What did Darius do and proclaim? Ezra 6:1,3,7,11,12_________________________________________________________________ 19. Note: The restoration of Jerusalem was completed under the decree that was issued by king Artaxerxes in 457 B.C. Ezra 7: 7-28. 20. Note: We confirmed in previous lessons that Jesus was baptized in A.D. 27 Autumn and became the Messiah, which fulfilled Daniel 9:25. 21a. Calculate the following using 69 prophetic weeks or 483 years. 21b. Cyrus’ decree 536 B.C — 483 years = 53 B.C. [Jesus was not baptized in 53 B.C.] 21c. Darius’ decree 519 B.C. — 483 years = 36 B.C. [Jesus was not baptized in 36 B.C.] 21d. Artaxerxes’ decree 457 B.C. — 483 years = 27 A.D. [Jesus was baptized in 27 A.D.] 22a. Note: There are two events and two corresponding prophetic dates in Daniel 9:25. Let us discover and confirm them. 22b. Firstly: Restore and rebuild Jerusalem within 7 prophetic weeks or 49 years from 457 B.C. 22c. Secondly: The Messiah the Prince would arrive 62 prophetic weeks or 434 years thereafter. 23. Calculate the following: Use 457 B.C. as the starting date to rebuild Jerusalem. Travel 49 years in the future. What is the correct year for the completion of the rebuilding of Jerusalem?______________________________________________________________________ 24. Calculate the following: Use 408 B.C. as the end for the 7 prophetic weeks or 49 years. Travel 62 prophetic weeks or 434 years in the future. What is the correct year for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus being baptized? _________________________________________ 25. The decree of how many kings comprised the fulfillment of the one “commandment” for the Jews to rebuild Jerusalem. Ezra 6:14 _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 26. Who would enter the temple several years after it was completed? Haggai 2:7,15,18_________________________________________ 27. How many decrees or messages must be proclaimed to usher in the second coming of Jesus? Revelation 14:6-16________________ 28. The street and the wall of Jerusalem were to be restored in what time? Daniel 9:25 _________________________________________ “Under the favor shown them by Cyrus, nearly fifty thousand of the children of the captivity had taken advantage of the decree permitting their return. These, however, in comparison with the hundreds of thousands scattered throughout the provinces of Medo-Persia, were but a mere remnant. The great majority of the Israelites had chosen to remain in the land of their exile rather than undergo the hardships of the return journey and the re-establishment of their desolated cities and homes. {PK 598.1} A score or more of years passed by, when a second decree, quite as favorable as the first, was issued by Darius Hystaspes, the monarch then ruling. Thus did God in mercy provide another opportunity for the Jews in the Medo-Persian realm to return to the land of their fathers. The Lord foresaw the troublous times that were to follow during the reign of Xerxes,--the Ahasuerus of the book of Esther,--and He not only wrought a change of feeling in the hearts of men in authority, but also inspired Zechariah to plead with the exiles to return. {PK 598.2} 29. Note: The following confirms that the crisis in the days of Esther, under Xerxes the great, or Ahasuerus, represents the crisis of the third angel’s message. “But it was not until several years later, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes I, the successor of Xerxes the Great, that any considerable number returned to Jerusalem, under Ezra. {PK 602.3} The trying experiences that came to God's people in the days of Esther were not peculiar to that age alone. The revelator, looking down the ages to the close of time, has declared, "The dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17. Some who today are living on the earth will see these words fulfilled. The same spirit that in ages past led men to persecute the true church, will in the future lead to the pursuance of a similar course toward those who maintain their loyalty to God. Even now preparations are being made for this last great conflict. {PK 605.1} The decree that will finally go forth against the remnant people of God will be very similar to that issued by Ahasuerus against the Jews. Today the enemies of the true church see in the little company keeping the Sabbath commandment, a Mordecai at the gate. The reverence of God's people for His law is a constant rebuke to those who have cast off the fear of the Lord and are trampling on His Sabbath.” {PK 605.2} 30. Who was one of God’s primary messengers leading out in the rebuilding of Jerusalem under king Artaxerxes’ reign? What was said of Ezra? Ezra 7:1,5,6,10_____________________________________________________________________________________________ But he [Ezra] was not satisfied with his spiritual condition. He longed to be in full harmony with God; he longed for wisdom to carry out the divine will. And so he "prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it." Ezra 7:10. This led him to apply himself diligently to a study of the history of God's people, as recorded in the writings of prophets and kings. He searched the historical and poetical books of the Bible to learn why the Lord had permitted Jerusalem to be destroyed and His people carried captive into a heathen land. {PK 608.1} To the experiences of Israel from the time the promise was made to Abraham, Ezra gave special thought. He studied the instruction given at Mount Sinai and through the long period of wilderness wandering. As he learned more and still more concerning God's dealings with His children, and comprehended the sacredness of the law given at Sinai, Ezra's heart was stirred. He experienced a new and thorough conversion and determined to master the records of sacred history, that he might use this knowledge to bring blessing and light to his people. {PK 608.2} The efforts of Ezra to revive an interest in the study of the Scriptures were given permanency by his painstaking, lifelong work of preserving and multiplying the Sacred Writings. He gathered all the copies of the law that he could find and had these transcribed and distributed. The pure word, thus multiplied and placed in the hands of many people, gave knowledge that was of inestimable value. {PK 609.3} Wherever Ezra labored, there sprang up a revival in the study of the Holy Scriptures. Teachers were appointed to instruct the people; the law of the Lord was exalted and made honorable. The books of the prophets were searched, and the passages foretelling the coming of the Messiah brought hope and comfort to many a sad and weary heart. {PK 623.1}

In His Church, February 8

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17. The elect of God are dear to His heart. They are those whom He has called out of darkness into His marvelous light, to show forth His praise, to shine as lights amid the darkness of the world.... God loves His children with infinite love. To Him the dearest object on earth is His church.—Christ’s Object Lessons, 165. During ages of spiritual darkness, the church of God has been as a city set on a hill. From age to age, through successive generations, the pure doctrines of heaven have been unfolding within its borders. Enfeeble and defective as it may appear, the church is the one object upon which God bestows in a special sense His supreme regard. It is the theater of His grace, in which He delights to reveal His power to transform hearts.—The Acts of the Apostles, 12.

Gates of Hell Won’t Prevail Against A.D.27 & October 22,1844. After 4 B.C Christ Comes.STUDY TO SHOW

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com Gates of Hell Won’t Prevail Against A.D.27 & October 22,1844. After 4 B.C Christ Comes | “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 6 1. Note: This Bible study is part six of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 2. How many prophetic weeks should elapse and then the Messiah should come? Daniel 9:25____________________________________ 3. What does the word “Messiah” mean? Answer: Messiah means the anointed one and the Christ. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Hebrew Dictionary number 4899 and Greek Dictionary number 5547. 4. What did John the Baptist do to Jesus and what did Jesus receive from His Father, that led Andrew and John to call Jesus the Messiah and the Christ? John 1:32-36,40,41; Acts 10:36-38______________________________________________________________________ 5. How many years would 69 weeks represent? Calculate 69 x 7 = _________________. One day represents a year in Bible prophecy. Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6 6. Use 457 B.C. as the starting date. Calculate 483 years in the future. [ 483 — 457 = 26 ] Your answer should be 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 7. Note: Jesus was baptized in the year A.D. 27 and officially became the Christ, the Messiah. 8. Who should we know in order to receive eternal life? John 17:3__________________________________________________________ 9. What question did Jesus ask His disciples? Matthew 16:13______________________________________________________________ 10. What was Peter’s response? Matthew 16:16________________________________________________________________________ 11. What was Jesus’ response? Matthew 16:18_________________________________________________________________________ 12. What confession did Peter and the disciples make when many of the other disciples forsook Jesus? John 6:66-69 _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 13. What threat brought fear into the minds of the Jews? John 9:22_________________________________________________________ 14. What did the Jewish leaders ask Jesus? What was His response? Luke 22:67; John 10:24,25_________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 15. What was one of the questions that was posed to Jesus at the close of His earthly ministry? Matthew 26:63______________________ 16. What was Jesus’ response? Matthew 26:64_________________________________________________________________________ 17. What did the disciples understand? What were they witnesses of in order to preach? Luke 24:44-48_____________________________ 18. Note: The following Bible study is one of the ways to prove that Jesus’ baptism took place in A.D.27 and He officially became the Christ. 19. How old was Jesus before Herod died? Matthew 2:8,9,11,13,14_________________________________________________________ 20. Consider the fact that nine times in Matthew 2:8-21 the Bible calls Jesus a “young child.” The word “young” means an infant. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Greek Dictionary number 3813. Matthew could have used other words in the place of “young,” but he chose the greek word that means “infant.” The age of an infant child ranges from newborn to 1 year old. 21a. In what year did Herod die, according to the following statement? _____________________________________________________ 21b. “The life of Herod the Great (B.C. 73–B.C. 4) —king of ancient Judea—was the stuff of legend, but the cause of his grisly death more than 2,000 years ago has been a mystery.” https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/archaeology/herods-tomb/ https://www.britannica.com/biography/Herod-king-of-Judaea https://www.rt.com/news/509230-herods-palace-unveiled-israel/ 22. How old was Jesus at the appointed year when Herod died? Matthew 2:19-21______________________________________________ 23. Jesus was called a ‘young child’ or an infant when Herod died in the year 4 B.C. An infant means the child is a newborn to one year old. 24. How old was Jesus when He was baptized by John the Baptist? Luke 3:21-23_____________________________________________ 25. Calculate the following: 30 — 4 = _______________________________________________________________________________ 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 27. Therefore, Jesus was baptized in A.D. 27 by John the Baptist and officially became the Messiah and the Christ. See John 1:32-41. 28. Once you prove one date with its corresponding event, you can prove all the other dates with their corresponding events that comprise the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24. 29. Consider the following incident to confirm that Jesus was an infant when Herod died in the year 4 B.C. 30. How old was Moses when Pharaoh mandated the death of all the male children? How old were the male children? Acts 7:17-21 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 31. Consider the fact that Moses was three months old when Pharaoh attempted to kill all the male “young children.” The word “young” means babe and infant. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Greek Dictionary number 1025. 32. Note: As we proved A.D. 27 to be the date of Jesus’ baptism, we have also confirmed that 457 B.C. is the starting date for the 2300 years of Daniel 8:14. Use 457 B.C. as your starting date. Count 2300 years in the future and you will arrive at A.D.1844. This is the year when Jesus ended His work in the Holy Place and moved into the Most Holy Place to begin the work of Investigative Judgment. 33a. What was prophesied to begin at the end of the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 in the year A.D.1844 Autumn?________________ 33b. What is the name of the day when the cleansing of the sanctuary occurred? Leviticus 16:19-22,29,30__________________________ 33c. Before the sanctuary was cleansed there was an examination or investigation done to see who was found repentant or unrepentant. 33d. The unrepentant person was cut off from God’s people and lost. Read Leviticus 23:27-29. 33e. The Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement, the Investigative Judgment are all synonyms. 34. What does Acts 17:31 say regarding Jesus and the world being judged? When will the judgment begin? _________________________ 35. On what day and month did the Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement or the Day of Investigative Judgment occur in the typical service? Leviticus 23:27-29; Leviticus 16:15-22,29,30_______________________________________________________________ 36a. Consider the following two statements to confirm the previous points. 36b. In like manner the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service. Under the Mosaic system the cleansing of the sanctuary, or the great Day of Atonement, occurred on the tenth day of the seventh Jewish month (Leviticus 16:29-34), when the high priest, having made an atonement for all Israel, and thus removed their sins from the sanctuary, came forth and blessed the people. So it was believed that Christ, our great High Priest, would appear to purify the earth by the destruction of sin and sinners, and to bless His waiting people with immortality. The tenth day of the seventh month, the great Day of Atonement, the time of the cleansing of the sanctuary, which in the year 1844 fell upon the twenty-second of October, was regarded as the time of the Lord's coming. This was in harmony with the proofs already presented that the 2300 days would terminate in the autumn, and the conclusion seemed irresistible. {GC 399.4} 36c. Note: The Jewish year, in the time of Moses, began in the spring time. The present Gregorian calendar starts the year in January. In the year 1844, the seventh month was October and the 10 day corresponded with the 22nd day. Therefore the date October 22, 1844, Jesus moved into the Most Holy Place to begin the Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement or the Day of Investigative Judgment. 36d. Ascertaining that the "new moon," or first day of the seventh Jewish month, Tishri, fell on October 13, then the tenth day of that seventh month would fall on October 22, as its civil equivalent—though technically beginning at the previous sunset. So it would actually be October 21/22, as every Jewish day, from sunset to sunset, embraces parts of two civil days which run from midnight to midnight. But as the bulk of the day coincided with October 22, that was commonly spoken of as its civil equivalent. {1954 LEF, PFF4 800.3} 37a. Consider the following two statements that detail the religious experience of the Millerite-Adventists who were anticipating the return of Jesus Christ on October 22, 1844. 37b. It was similar in character to those seasons of humiliation and returning unto the Lord which among ancient Israel followed messages of reproof from His servants. It bore the characteristics that mark the work of God in every age. There was little ecstatic joy, but rather deep searching of heart, confession of sin, and forsaking of the world. A preparation to meet the Lord was the burden of agonizing spirits. There was persevering prayer and unreserved consecration to God. {GC 400.2} 37c. Another who participated in the movement testified: "It produced everywhere the most deep searching of heart and humiliation of soul before the God of high heaven. It caused a weaning of affections from the things of this world, a healing of controversies and animosities, a confession of wrongs, a breaking down before God, and penitent, brokenhearted supplications to Him for pardon and acceptance. It caused self-abasement and prostration of soul, such as we never before witnessed. {GC 401.2} 37d. Carefully and solemnly those who received the message came up to the time when they hoped to meet their Lord. Every morning they felt that it was their first duty to secure the evidence of their acceptance with God. Their hearts were closely united, and they prayed much with and for one another. They often met together in secluded places to commune with God, and the voice of intercession ascended to heaven from the fields and groves. The assurance of the Saviour's approval was more necessary to them than their daily food; and if a cloud darkened their minds, they did not rest until it was swept away. As they felt the witness of pardoning grace, they longed to behold Him whom their souls loved. {GC 403.1}

God Rejoices in His Chosen People, February 7

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. Isaiah 62:4. If we are faithful and obedient, God will delight in us, and bless us as His own chosen peculiar people.—Testimonies for the Church 2:693. The Lord has joined His people to Himself by a solemn covenant, He promising to be their God, and they pledging themselves to be His, and His alone. He declares, “I will betroth thee unto Me forever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving-kindness, and in mercies.” And again, “I am married unto you.” And Paul employs the same figure in the New Testament when he says, “I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”—The Great Controversy, 381. “You shall be my ‘Delight,’ your land shall be my ‘wedded wife,’ for the Eternal takes delight in you, and your land shall again be married. As a young man weds a maiden, so your Founder marries you, and as a bridegroom thrills to his bride, so shall your God thrill to you.” Isaiah 62:4-5, Moffatt.

The Final Conflict is over our WORSHIP!

Churches Must Submit Sermons to Gov.? Brace for Crises Mans Day Sunday. God says,"Remember the Sabbath Day"/Saturday. Heb.13:8,Mal.3:6 No change God.

Sabbath School | The 1st Angel's Message, Part 5 - Sabbath vs Sunday | 02/06/2021

1. In this Sabbath School Lesson, we will study from scripture which day God calls the Sabbath and also show that the Bible does not support Sunday worship. 2. What reason does Revelation 14:7 give us to worship God? ___________________________________________________ 3. Note: Although we should worship God everyday, He has set aside a specific day fully dedicated to worshipping Him and to rest from our labors. This day is called the seventh-day Sabbath. Some argue that the seventh-day Sabbath (commonly called Saturday) was made specifically for the Jewish nation and therefore we do not need to keep the seventh-day Sabbath today. 4. Where is the first place in scripture we see God instituting His day of rest? For whom was this day of rest made? Genesis 2:2,3; Mark 2:27 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5. Many people call Sunday “the day of rest.” What day does God call His day of rest? Exodus 31:16, 17; Genesis 2:2, 3 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 6. In Revelation 1:10, John says that he was “in the spirit on the Lord’s day.” There are those who believe he was referring to Sunday. What day does God call “the Lord’s day?” Isaiah 58:13, 14; Mark 2:27, 28 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 7. Does God command us to keep the seventh-day Sabbath? Has God’s law changed? Exodus 20:8-11; Matthew 5:17-19; Psalm 111:7, 8; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 8. What does true Sabbath observance teach us? a)Ezekiel 20:12 ________________________________________________________________________________________ b)Ezekiel 20:20 ________________________________________________________________________________________ 9. Some Christians believe that seventh-day Sabbath observance can only be found in the Old Testament. Did Jesus keep the seventh-day Sabbath in the New Testament? Luke 4:16, 31; Hebrews 4:4, 8, 9 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 10. Did the women who went to anoint Jesus’ body also rest on the Sabbath day? Luke 23:54-56 _________________________ 11. Were the apostles Sabbath-keepers or did they worship on Sunday after Jesus’ resurrection? Acts 13:14, 27, 42, 44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 12. Some argue that Colossians 2:16 is saying that keeping the weekly seventh-day Sabbath is no longer necessary since the crucifixion of Jesus. To what are “the sabbath days” in Colossians 2 referring? Leviticus 23:1-4, 5-6, 10, 16, 24, 27, 34 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 13. Note: Leviticus 23:3 shows us the weekly, seventh-day Sabbath. Notice that it is called a ‘holy convocation.’ Then in verse 4, the Bible transitions to show us the “sabbath days” that the Israelites were to keep, which were also called holy convocations or sabbaths (Leviticus 23:24). These sabbaths were seasonal or annual (not weekly) and they pointed to future events that would be fulfilled in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Once Jesus came and fulfilled these ceremonies, there was no longer a need for them. In contrast, the weekly seventh-day Sabbath points backward to an event - the creation of the world by God (Genesis 2:2, 3). Therefore, it cannot be undone without undoing the original event it pointed back to. Saved To Serve Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com The First angel’s Message, Part 5 Sabbath Vs Sunday 14. Note: For further study on Colossians 2:14-17 & the law of God, refer back to the lesson “Understanding The Law of God, Part 1” See the link below. https://www.prophesyagain.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Notes/Understanding-The-Law-Of-God-Part-1.pdf 15. Read Acts 20:7. Since Paul broke bread on the first day of the week, many observe Sunday as the Christian Sabbath. Is this sufficient evidence to substantiate the claim of Sunday worship? Answer: No. Acts 2:42-46 shows us that the apostles broke bread every day at one point. If a single day of breaking bread is enough to make this day the Sabbath, then one could argue that every day is a sabbath because the apostles broke bread every day. 16. Read Acts 20:7-11. What day of the week was this that the apostles gathered to have a meeting? _____________________ a)What marks a Biblical day? Genesis 1:5, 8; Leviticus 23:32 ____________________________________________________ b)Why were there lights in this meeting in Acts 20? Acts 20:7, 8 __________________________________________________ c) What did Paul do after the meeting? Would he have done that if it was the Sabbath? Acts 20:11, 13 ____________________ 17. Note: Throughout history, Sunday worship has been a long standing tradition for many Christians. Where did it come from, and what entity takes credit for the establishment of Sunday worship? Let us take a look at what Roman Catholics say in their own book, The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine. The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, page 50 Q. Which is the Sabbath day? A. Saturday is the Sabbath day. Q. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? A. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. Q. Why did the Catholic Church substitute Sunday for Saturday? A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday, because Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, and the Holy Ghost descended upon the Apostles on a Sunday. Q. By what authority did the Church substitute Sunday for Saturday? A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her. 18. As we close, remember that the first angel in Revelation 14:6 has the “everlasting gospel.” In verse 7, the angel says to “worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Where else in scripture are similar words found? Exodus 20:11 Note: This shows us that the Ten Commandments (including the Sabbath commandment) make up a part of the everlasting gospel and therefore will remain until the close of time! 19. Read Revelation 14:9, 10. The last great test for mankind is over what? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ “The keeping of the Seventh-day Sabbath is to be the great test in these last days. Thus is to be drawn the line of demarcation between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not. By keeping this day holy we acknowledge before the universe that we worship Him who by His power created the world. We acknowledge also that life is found in obedience.” {12MR 215.1} 20. By what identifying markers will God recognize His people in these last days? Revelation 14:12

"Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 10:15. God desired to make of His people Israel a praise and a glory. Every spiritual advantage was given them. God withheld from them nothing favorable to the formation of character that would make them representatives of Himself. Their obedience to the laws of God would make them marvels of prosperity before the nations of the world. He who could give them wisdom and skill in all cunning work would continue to be their teacher, and would ennoble and elevate them through obedience to His laws. If obedient, they would be preserved from the diseases that afflicted other nations, and would be blessed with vigor of intellect. The glory of God, His majesty and power, were to be revealed in all their prosperity. They were to be a kingdom of priests and princes. God furnished them with every facility for becoming the greatest nation on the earth.—Testimonies for the Church 6:222. Through Israel it was His design to impart rich blessings to all peoples. Through them the way was to be prepared for the diffusion of His light to the whole world.—Testimonies for the Church 6:221. “His glory is His children’s good; His joy, His tender Fatherhood.” —Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 77.

Christ Shares in Rejoicing, February 3

When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass His commandment: when He appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him. Proverbs 8:29, 30. The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate,—a co-worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created beings. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” Christ, the Word, the only-begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father,—one in nature, in character, in purpose,—the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God. “His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace.” His “goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” And the Son of God declares concerning Himself; “The Lord possessed Me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting.... When He appointed the foundations of the earth, then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.”—Patriarchs and Prophets, 34.

46 Years Then Christ Comes To Cleanse The Sanctuary | STUDY TO SHOW | Part 5

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com 46 Years Then Christ Comes To Cleanse The Sanctuary “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 5 1a. What does Peter desire to establish us in? 2 Peter 1:12________________________________________________________________ 1b. Note: The word establish means to confirm, to seal, to settle, to set fast in a place and be immovable. 2a. According to the following statement, what does the flock of God need now? What subjects comprise present truth?_______________ ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2b. There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is "present truth" that the flock needs now. I have seen the danger of the messengers running off from the important points of present truth, to dwell upon subjects that are not calculated to unite the flock and sanctify the soul. Satan will here take every possible advantage to injure the cause. {EW 63.1} But such subjects as the sanctuary, in connection with the 2300 days, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, are perfectly calculated to explain the past Advent movement and show what our present position is, establish the faith of the doubting, and give certainty to the glorious future. These, I have frequently seen, were the principal subjects on which the messengers should dwell. {EW 63.2} 3. Note: This Bible study is part five of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 4. How many prophetic weeks should elapse and then the Messiah should come? Daniel 9:25____________________________________ 5. What does the word “Messiah” mean? Answer: Messiah means the anointed one and the Christ. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Greek Dictionary number 5547. 6. How many years would 69 weeks represent? Calculate 69 x 7 = _________________. One day represents a year in Bible prophecy. Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6 7. Use 457 B.C. as the starting date. Calculate 483 years in the future. [ 483 — 457 = 26 ] Your answer should be 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 8. In this Bible study, we will confirm that Jesus was baptized in the autumn of A.D. 27 and was officially called the Messiah, the Christ. 9. What was prophesied to happen to Jesus in middle of the last prophetic week, between A.D. 27 and A.D. 34? Daniel 9:27____________ 10. Note: When Jesus died on Calvary’s cross, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top to bottom. This signaled that type and met antitype and that God would no longer accept the sacrifices of animals for man’s sins. Read Matthew 27:50,51; Hebrews 10:4-6,12. 11. On which feast day was Jesus crucified? 1 Corinthians 5:7; Matthew 26:2; John 13:1; John 18:28,39; John 19:14_________________ 12. What is the name of the month for Passover? Exodus 13:3,4; Exodus 12:1-6,13____________________________________________ 13. Note: Passover occurred in the Spring annually. Read the following. Passover is a major Jewish holiday that occurs in the spring on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan or Abib. One of the biblically ordained Three Pilgrimage Festivals. In the Bible, Passover marks the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egyptian slavery, when God "passed over" the houses of the Israelites during the last of the ten plagues. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover 14. Note: Jesus was crucified in the middle of A.D. 27 and A.D. 34 (Daniel 9:27). The middle point of those last seven years is A.D. 31 Spring. 15. Note: A.D. 31 Spring to A.D. 34 Spring is 3 years. Add 6 months to A.D. 34 Spring and you get A.D. 34 Autumn. Stephen was stoned. 16. Note: A.D. 27 Autumn to A.D. 30 Autumn is 3 years. Add 6 months to A.D. 30 Autumn and you get A.D. 31 Spring. Jesus was crucified. 17. Note: A.D. 27 Autumn Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. 3 1/2 years later, Jesus was crucified in A.D. 31 Spring. 3 1/2 years later, Stephen was stoned in A.D. 34 Autumn. 18. What did John the Baptist do to Jesus, what did Jesus receive from His Father, that led Andrew and John to call Jesus the Messiah and the Christ? John 1:32-36,40,41; Acts 10:36-38__________________________________________________________________________ 19. Note: Write the following words beside John 1:32-36: Jesus was baptized in A.D. 27 Autumn. 20. During which feast did Jesus go up to Jerusalem? What did Jesus do in the Temple, according to John 2:13-17____________________ _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 21. According to the following statement, what season of the year is Passover?________________________________________________ Passover is a major Jewish holiday that occurs in the spring on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan or Abib. In the Bible, Passover marks the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egyptian slavery, when God "passed over" the houses of the Israelites during the last of the ten plagues. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover 22. Note: Write the following words beside John 2:13-17: Jesus went up to Jerusalem and cleansed the temple in the year A.D. 28 Spring. 23. What did the Jews require of Jesus in the year A.D. 28 Spring? John 2:18_________________________________________________ 24. What was Jesus’ response to the Jews? John 2:19,21_________________________________________________________________ 25. What statement did the Jews make to Jesus in the year A.D. 28 Spring? John 2:20__________________________________________ 26. In what year did Herod the great began renovating the Jewish temple, according to the following statement?______________________ In 19 B.C. the master-builder, King Herod the Great, began the most ambitious building project of his life—the rebuilding of the Temple and the Temple Mount in lavish style. http://www.biblicalarchaeology.org/daily/biblical-sites-places/temple-at-jerusalem/the-templemount-in-the-herodian-period/ 27. Note: Using 19 B.C. as your starting point, go forward 46 years in the future; you will arrive at A.D. 28. 28. Calculate the following: 46 — 19 = ________________________________________________________________________________ 29. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 28. 30. The Passover feast of John 2:13-21 occurred in the year A.D. 28 Spring, because Passover is always held in the Spring of the year. 31. The following statements will confirm that John 1:32-41 occurred in the year A.D. 27 Autumn and John 2:13-21 occurred in the year A.D. 28 Spring. Jesus’ earthly ministry from His baptism to His crucifixion lasted for 3 1/2 years. Jesus encountered four Passover feasts. a. Jesus’ first Passover feast after His baptism is found in John 2:13. A.D. 28 Spring. b. Jesus’ second Passover feast after His baptism is found in John 5:1. A.D. 29 Spring. [“Feast of the Jews” means Passover. John 6:4] c. Jesus’ third Passover feast after His baptism is found in John 6:4. A.D. 30 Spring. d. Jesus’ fourth and final Passover feast after His baptism is found in John 13:1; John 18:28,39; John 19:14. A.D. 31 Spring. 32. Once you prove one date with its event, you can prove all the other dates with their events that comprise the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24. 33. What did Jesus do in the temple in the year A.D. 28 Spring? John 2:13-17_________________________________________________ 34. What was prophesied to begin at the end of the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 in the year A.D.1844 Autumn?_________________ 35. Name the sanctuary, tabernacle, temple that is found in the following scriptures: Hebrews 8:1,2_______________________________ Exodus 25:8,9______________________________________; 1 Corinthians 6:19,20__________________________________________ 36. When Jesus began His public ministry, He cleansed the temple from its sacrilegious profanation. Among the last acts of His ministry was the second cleansing of the temple. So in the last work for the warning of the world, two distinct calls are made to the churches. The second angel's message is, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." And in the loud cry of the third angel's message a voice is heard from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities" (RH Dec. 6, 1892). {2SM 118.2} 37. The courts of the temple at Jerusalem, filled with the tumult of unholy traffic, represented all too truly the temple of the heart, defiled by the presence of sensual passion and unholy thoughts. In cleansing the temple from the world's buyers and sellers, Jesus announced His mission to cleanse the heart from the defilement of sin,--from the earthly desires, the selfish lusts, the evil habits, that corrupt the soul. "The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? for He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: and He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver." Malachi 3:1-3. {DA 161.1} 38. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17. No man can of himself cast out the evil throng that have taken possession of the heart. Only Christ can cleanse the soul temple. But He will not force an entrance. He comes not into the heart as to the temple of old; but He says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him." Revelation 3:20. He will come, not for one day merely; for He says, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; . . . and they shall be My people." "He will subdue our iniquities; and Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." 2 Corinthians 6:16; Micah 7:19. His presence will cleanse and sanctify the soul, so that it may be a holy temple unto the Lord, and "an habitation of God through the Spirit." Ephesians 2:21, 22. {DA 161.2} 39. In the work of redemption there is no compulsion. No external force is employed. Under the influence of the Spirit of God, man is left free to choose whom he will serve. In the change that takes place when the soul surrenders to Christ, there is the highest sense of freedom. The expulsion of sin is the act of the soul itself. True, we have no power to free ourselves from Satan's control; but when we desire to be set free from sin, and in our great need cry out for a power out of and above ourselves, the powers of the soul are

Rejoices in His Works, February 2

The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in His works. Psalm 104:31. “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11. God looked with satisfaction upon the work of His hands. All things that He had made He pronounced “very good.” Genesis 1:31. Heaven and earth were filled with rejoicing. “The morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.” Job 38:7.—Testimonies for the Church 6:349. The creation was now complete. “The heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” ... Eden bloomed on earth.... No taint of sin, or shadow of death, marred the fair creation.... The great Jehovah had laid the foundations of the earth; He had dressed the whole world in the garb of beauty, and had filled it with things useful to man; He had created all the wonders of the land and of the sea.—Patriarchs and Prophets, 47. Peace brooded over the world; for earth was in harmony with heaven. “God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good”; and He rested in the joy of His completed work.—The Desire of Ages, 281.

15 Years Then Christ Comes | STUDY TO SHOW | Part 4

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com 15 Years of His Reign, Then Christ Comes “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 4 1a. Note: This Bible study is part four of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 4. How old was Jesus when He was baptized by John the Baptist? Luke 3:21-23_______________________________________________ 5. In what year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar did John the Baptist begin his ministry and his baptisms? See Luke 3:1-3________________ 6a. Tiberius Caesar began his reign as co-regent or co-ruler with Augustus in A.D. 12. Tiberius became sole ruler, after the death of Augustus, in A.D. 14. Read the following historic records. 6b. Tiberius Caesar Augustus was the second Roman emperor, reigning from AD 14 to 37. He succeeded his stepfather, Augustus... Thus, according to Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus, a Roman historian, these ceremonies and the declaration of his "co-Princeps" took place in the year 12 AD, after Tiberius' return from Germania. [34] "But he was at once recalled, and finding Augustus in his last illness but still alive, he spent an entire day with him in private."[36] Augustus died in AD 14, a month before his 76th birthday.[37] Tiberius was confirmed as his sole surviving heir.[38] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiberius 6c. Christ was six months younger than John the Baptist, and is generally considered to have entered upon his ministry six months later; both of them commencing their work, according to the law of the priesthood, when they were thirty years of age. Of Christ, Luke says expressly that at the time of his baptism he began to be about thirty years of age. Luke 3:23. Now John entered upon his ministry, as Luke informs us (3:1), in the fifteenth year of Tiberius Caesar. Tiberius was the successor of Augustus, who reigned to A.D. 14. The date of Augustus' death is indisputably fixed by means of the great lunar eclipse…But the reign of Tiberius is to be reckoned, according to Prideaux, Dr. Hales, Lardner, and others, from his elevation to the throne to reign jointly with Augustus his stepfather, in August, A.D. 12, two years before the death of the latter. The fifteenth year of Tiberius would therefore be from August, A.D. 26, to August, A.D. 27. If John commenced in the spring in the latter portion of the fifteenth year of Tiberius, it would bring the commencement of Christ's ministry in the autumn of A.D. 27, the very point where the 483 years of Dan.9 expire. {1877 UrS, STTHD 84.3} 7. Which of the two dates should we use as the start of Tiberius’ reign? Answer A.D. 12. The context of Luke 3:1-3 shows us that we should use A.D. 12, when Tiberius was co-ruler with Augustus. To confirm, Luke gives other rulers reigning simultaneously, especially Herod and Philip being tetrarchs, and Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests. 8. Calculate the following: A.D. 12 + 15 years = _________________________________________________________________________ 9. Note: This confirms that Jesus was baptized in A.D. 27 by John the Baptist and officially became the Christ, the Messiah. 10. We will discover later on this Bible study the time of the year in A.D. 27 when Jesus was baptized. 11. How many prophetic weeks should elapse and then the Messiah should come; meaning that Jesus would be baptized, according to the prophet Daniel? Daniel 9:25______________________________________________________________________________________ 12. How many years would 69 weeks represent? Calculate 69 x 7 = _________________. One day represents a year. Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6 13. Use 457 B.C. as the starting date. Calculate 483 years in the future. Your answer should be 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 14. We have just confirmed that 457 B.C. is the starting date for 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24. Additionally, we confirmed A.D. 34 as the ending date for the 70 prophetic weeks or 490 years. 15. Secondly, we just confirmed that 457 B.C. is the starting date for the larger prophecy of which the 70 prophetic weeks is a part of, namely the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14. Therefore 1844 is the ending date for the 2300 years; and that is the year when Jesus began the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary, the work of investigative judgment on the antitypical Day of Atonement. 16. Since Jesus became the Messiah, the Christ, at the end of 69 prophetic weeks, how many weeks remained from the 70 prophetic weeks?________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 17. How many years does one prophetic week represent? Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6. Answer: 7 years 18. Calculate A.D. 27 + 7 years = ___________________________________________________________________________________ 19. According to our previous study in this Bible study series and the following statement, what happened to Stephen in A.D. 34?_________ 19b. “On Dec. 26, the universal Church commemorates the death of St. Stephen in 34 A.D., the first man to give his life in witness to the faith. He is sometimes referred to as the ‘protomartyr.’” http://www.catholicnewsherald.com/faith/190-news/faith/faith-dec/142-ststephen-the-first-martyr-remembered-dec-26 19c. At the supreme Jewish law court, the Sanhedrin, Stephen recounted the many mercies that God had given the children of Israel, and the ungrateful way in which they had repaid Him. He accused them of murdering Jesus, whose coming, he said, had been foretold by Moses. This angered the crowd and he was dragged out onto the streets. He was then stoned to death according to the law at that time, an event witnessed by St Paul. It is believed he died around the year 34CE. http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/christianity/ saints/stephen.shtml 20. What was prophesied to happen to Jesus in middle of the last prophetic week, between A.D. 27 and A.D. 34? Daniel 9:27___________ 21. Note: When Jesus died on Calvary’s cross, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top to bottom. This signaled that type and met antitype and that God would no longer accept the sacrifices of animals for man’s sins. Read Matthew 27:50,51; Hebrews 10:4-6,12. 22. On which feast day was Jesus crucified? 1 Corinthians 5:7; Matthew 26:2; John 13:1; John 18:28,39; John 19:14_________________ 23. What is the name of the month for Passover? Exodus 13:3,4; Exodus 12:1-6,13_____________________________________________ 24. Note: Passover occurred in the Spring annually. Read the following. “The first month of the Jewish ecclesiastical year [called Abib], corresponding nearly to the Gregorian April. After the Babylonish captivity this month was called Nisan.” https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Abib 25. Note: Jesus was crucified in the middle of A.D. 27 and A.D. 34 (Daniel 9:27). The middle point of those last seven years is A.D. 31 Spring. 26. Note: A.D. 31 Spring to A.D. 34 Spring is 3 years. Add 6 months to A.D. 34 Spring and you get A.D. 34 Autumn. Stephen was stoned. 27. Note: A.D. 27 Autumn to A.D. 30 Autumn is 3 years. Add 6 months to A.D. 30 Autumn and you get A.D. 31 Spring. Jesus was crucified. 28. Note: A.D. 27 Autumn Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. 3 1/2 years later, Jesus was crucified in A.D. 31 Spring. 3 1/2 years later, Stephen was stoned in A.D. 34 Autumn. 29. Therefore, the starting date for both the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24 is 457 B.C. Autumn. 30. Note: The ending date for the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 is A.D. 1844 Autumn. 31. Read and meditate upon the following scriptures and write down your thoughts. Revelation 14:6,7_________________________________________________________________________________________________ Acts 24:24,25____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ecclesiastes 12:13,14_____________________________________________________________________________________________ John 18:28, 38; John 19:6__________________________________________________________________________________________ Revelation 14:5__________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1 John 4:17-19__________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hebrews 4:14-16__________________________________________________________________________

Heavenly Joy over Repentant Sinners, February 1

February—Heavenly Happiness I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7. Heaven is full of joy. It resounds with the praises of Him who made so wonderful a sacrifice for the redemption of the human race. Should not the church on earth be full of praise? Should not Christians publish throughout the world the joy of serving Christ?
