Scriptural Lessons

Lessons from Scripture are many.  Some of these lessons are very simple, yet they must be understood by the people.  The Bible shows that history repeats itself.  See Ecclesiastes 1:9.  Scripture also states that God requires the past,  in Eccl. 3:15.  This teaches that everything in the Bible is important and essential to be trusted, believed, and understood.  God is very merciful and He is a good God, but Scripture also shows that His wrath is unusual and hard to be comprehended, even described as a strange thing.  God destroyed many hundreds, and even thousands of His people in a single day when, they were found in idolatry, and disobedience,  following apostate religious leaders, even worldly civil leaders.

As the end of this World approaches,  we must recognize these lessons from history,  looking at the antediluvian civilization,  as well as Lots history.  Eight persons were saved in Noah’s day,  and three people were rescued from Sodom, Gomorrah, and cities of the plain in Lot’s day.  This simply teaches, that the majority of persons are doing the wrong thing following customs and the traditions of man.  The Bible teaches this as absolute truth in Revelation 20:7-10 describing post millennium Satanic deceptions.  To be saved, and safe,  we cannot afford to follow the masses.  Satan and his agents have always used lies and deception, and these delusions will become more and more perverse, and prevalent, in these last days.  His Church leader is claiming that just naming the name of Christ is more important than obedience to Gods Ten Commandment Law.  Finally,  the Bible  shows that in the End,  Satans  army will be numbered as the individual grains or sands of the sea, worldwide.  See Revelation 20:8, noted above.   May God help each of us to understand Bible Truths.
