Gates of Hell Won’t Prevail Against A.D.27 & October 22,1844. After 4 B.C Christ Comes.STUDY TO SHOW

Saved To Serve || Prophesy Again Pastor Andrew Henriques www.prophesyagain.com Gates of Hell Won’t Prevail Against A.D.27 & October 22,1844. After 4 B.C Christ Comes | “STUDY TO SHOW…” Part 6 1. Note: This Bible study is part six of our STUDY TO SHOW Bible series. 2. How many prophetic weeks should elapse and then the Messiah should come? Daniel 9:25____________________________________ 3. What does the word “Messiah” mean? Answer: Messiah means the anointed one and the Christ. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Hebrew Dictionary number 4899 and Greek Dictionary number 5547. 4. What did John the Baptist do to Jesus and what did Jesus receive from His Father, that led Andrew and John to call Jesus the Messiah and the Christ? John 1:32-36,40,41; Acts 10:36-38______________________________________________________________________ 5. How many years would 69 weeks represent? Calculate 69 x 7 = _________________. One day represents a year in Bible prophecy. Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6 6. Use 457 B.C. as the starting date. Calculate 483 years in the future. [ 483 — 457 = 26 ] Your answer should be 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 7. Note: Jesus was baptized in the year A.D. 27 and officially became the Christ, the Messiah. 8. Who should we know in order to receive eternal life? John 17:3__________________________________________________________ 9. What question did Jesus ask His disciples? Matthew 16:13______________________________________________________________ 10. What was Peter’s response? Matthew 16:16________________________________________________________________________ 11. What was Jesus’ response? Matthew 16:18_________________________________________________________________________ 12. What confession did Peter and the disciples make when many of the other disciples forsook Jesus? John 6:66-69 _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 13. What threat brought fear into the minds of the Jews? John 9:22_________________________________________________________ 14. What did the Jewish leaders ask Jesus? What was His response? Luke 22:67; John 10:24,25_________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 15. What was one of the questions that was posed to Jesus at the close of His earthly ministry? Matthew 26:63______________________ 16. What was Jesus’ response? Matthew 26:64_________________________________________________________________________ 17. What did the disciples understand? What were they witnesses of in order to preach? Luke 24:44-48_____________________________ 18. Note: The following Bible study is one of the ways to prove that Jesus’ baptism took place in A.D.27 and He officially became the Christ. 19. How old was Jesus before Herod died? Matthew 2:8,9,11,13,14_________________________________________________________ 20. Consider the fact that nine times in Matthew 2:8-21 the Bible calls Jesus a “young child.” The word “young” means an infant. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Greek Dictionary number 3813. Matthew could have used other words in the place of “young,” but he chose the greek word that means “infant.” The age of an infant child ranges from newborn to 1 year old. 21a. In what year did Herod die, according to the following statement? _____________________________________________________ 21b. “The life of Herod the Great (B.C. 73–B.C. 4) —king of ancient Judea—was the stuff of legend, but the cause of his grisly death more than 2,000 years ago has been a mystery.” https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/archaeology/herods-tomb/ https://www.britannica.com/biography/Herod-king-of-Judaea https://www.rt.com/news/509230-herods-palace-unveiled-israel/ 22. How old was Jesus at the appointed year when Herod died? Matthew 2:19-21______________________________________________ 23. Jesus was called a ‘young child’ or an infant when Herod died in the year 4 B.C. An infant means the child is a newborn to one year old. 24. How old was Jesus when He was baptized by John the Baptist? Luke 3:21-23_____________________________________________ 25. Calculate the following: 30 — 4 = _______________________________________________________________________________ 26. Bear in mind that you must add one year once you cross over from B.C. to A.D. Therefore your final answer must be A.D. 27. 27. Therefore, Jesus was baptized in A.D. 27 by John the Baptist and officially became the Messiah and the Christ. See John 1:32-41. 28. Once you prove one date with its corresponding event, you can prove all the other dates with their corresponding events that comprise the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel 9:24. 29. Consider the following incident to confirm that Jesus was an infant when Herod died in the year 4 B.C. 30. How old was Moses when Pharaoh mandated the death of all the male children? How old were the male children? Acts 7:17-21 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 31. Consider the fact that Moses was three months old when Pharaoh attempted to kill all the male “young children.” The word “young” means babe and infant. See The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Greek Dictionary number 1025. 32. Note: As we proved A.D. 27 to be the date of Jesus’ baptism, we have also confirmed that 457 B.C. is the starting date for the 2300 years of Daniel 8:14. Use 457 B.C. as your starting date. Count 2300 years in the future and you will arrive at A.D.1844. This is the year when Jesus ended His work in the Holy Place and moved into the Most Holy Place to begin the work of Investigative Judgment. 33a. What was prophesied to begin at the end of the 2300 prophetic days of Daniel 8:14 in the year A.D.1844 Autumn?________________ 33b. What is the name of the day when the cleansing of the sanctuary occurred? Leviticus 16:19-22,29,30__________________________ 33c. Before the sanctuary was cleansed there was an examination or investigation done to see who was found repentant or unrepentant. 33d. The unrepentant person was cut off from God’s people and lost. Read Leviticus 23:27-29. 33e. The Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement, the Investigative Judgment are all synonyms. 34. What does Acts 17:31 say regarding Jesus and the world being judged? When will the judgment begin? _________________________ 35. On what day and month did the Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement or the Day of Investigative Judgment occur in the typical service? Leviticus 23:27-29; Leviticus 16:15-22,29,30_______________________________________________________________ 36a. Consider the following two statements to confirm the previous points. 36b. In like manner the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service. Under the Mosaic system the cleansing of the sanctuary, or the great Day of Atonement, occurred on the tenth day of the seventh Jewish month (Leviticus 16:29-34), when the high priest, having made an atonement for all Israel, and thus removed their sins from the sanctuary, came forth and blessed the people. So it was believed that Christ, our great High Priest, would appear to purify the earth by the destruction of sin and sinners, and to bless His waiting people with immortality. The tenth day of the seventh month, the great Day of Atonement, the time of the cleansing of the sanctuary, which in the year 1844 fell upon the twenty-second of October, was regarded as the time of the Lord's coming. This was in harmony with the proofs already presented that the 2300 days would terminate in the autumn, and the conclusion seemed irresistible. {GC 399.4} 36c. Note: The Jewish year, in the time of Moses, began in the spring time. The present Gregorian calendar starts the year in January. In the year 1844, the seventh month was October and the 10 day corresponded with the 22nd day. Therefore the date October 22, 1844, Jesus moved into the Most Holy Place to begin the Cleansing of the Sanctuary, the Day of Atonement or the Day of Investigative Judgment. 36d. Ascertaining that the "new moon," or first day of the seventh Jewish month, Tishri, fell on October 13, then the tenth day of that seventh month would fall on October 22, as its civil equivalent—though technically beginning at the previous sunset. So it would actually be October 21/22, as every Jewish day, from sunset to sunset, embraces parts of two civil days which run from midnight to midnight. But as the bulk of the day coincided with October 22, that was commonly spoken of as its civil equivalent. {1954 LEF, PFF4 800.3} 37a. Consider the following two statements that detail the religious experience of the Millerite-Adventists who were anticipating the return of Jesus Christ on October 22, 1844. 37b. It was similar in character to those seasons of humiliation and returning unto the Lord which among ancient Israel followed messages of reproof from His servants. It bore the characteristics that mark the work of God in every age. There was little ecstatic joy, but rather deep searching of heart, confession of sin, and forsaking of the world. A preparation to meet the Lord was the burden of agonizing spirits. There was persevering prayer and unreserved consecration to God. {GC 400.2} 37c. Another who participated in the movement testified: "It produced everywhere the most deep searching of heart and humiliation of soul before the God of high heaven. It caused a weaning of affections from the things of this world, a healing of controversies and animosities, a confession of wrongs, a breaking down before God, and penitent, brokenhearted supplications to Him for pardon and acceptance. It caused self-abasement and prostration of soul, such as we never before witnessed. {GC 401.2} 37d. Carefully and solemnly those who received the message came up to the time when they hoped to meet their Lord. Every morning they felt that it was their first duty to secure the evidence of their acceptance with God. Their hearts were closely united, and they prayed much with and for one another. They often met together in secluded places to commune with God, and the voice of intercession ascended to heaven from the fields and groves. The assurance of the Saviour's approval was more necessary to them than their daily food; and if a cloud darkened their minds, they did not rest until it was swept away. As they felt the witness of pardoning grace, they longed to behold Him whom their souls loved. {GC 403.1}
