Additional to yesterdays post regarding vanity.

Additionally; The Bible states in Revelations 12:12 “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. He is working hard and doubling efforts to deceive and to cause people to stumble. I lived in Southern California some 55 years and developed an affinity for some of the major sports teams. What do we see happening now, other than a resurgence of some popular teams looking as though they are going to contend for championships very soon. We must not be deceived brethren, time is very short. We must pray much and read these texts, committing them to memory. 1. Psalms 55:16,17. “As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” ******************** 2. Acts 10:9. “On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:” ******************** 3. Acts 3:1. “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.” ******************** 4. Mark 1:35. “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” ******************** 5. Matthew 26:41. “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” ******************** 6. Psalms 34:7. “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” ******************** 7. Psalms 33:22. “Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.” ******************** 8. Psalms 34:4. “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” ******************** 9. Matthew 14:23. “And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.” ******************** 10. Psalms 33:18. “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;” ******************** 11. Psalms 34:19. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” ******************** 12. Psalms 33:12. ******************** “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” ******************** 13. Psalms 34:22. “The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.” (guilty).
